Service prices are stated clearly before work begins. ฿3,600 for battery and seal care, ฿4,200 for a mechanical bench service, and a discussed scope for vintage restoration.
Expertise
Over two decades at the bench
Professional watchmaking requires training that extends well beyond the replacement of parts. Understanding the behaviour of a balance wheel, the geometry of a pallet fork, or the correct amplitude for a given movement takes years of focused work on real mechanisms.
Our founder Prayuth Chansomwong completed his training at a Swiss watchmaking school and returned to Thailand in 2008. That foundation informs every service — from a standard battery replacement to the restoration of a pre-war pocket watch.

Process
A methodical bench procedure
Each service type at horologicafads follows a defined procedure — not a checklist to be hurried through, but a sequence developed over years of practical work. The same steps, in the same order, with the same care each time.
This consistency is what allows us to produce a reliable service record. When we note the timing machine result, it means we ran the timing machine. When we note the case was pressure-tested, it means we pressure-tested it.
Client Care
Unhurried, direct, and honest
We take drop-offs in person at the workshop. That conversation at the bench — where we look at the watch together, note what you've observed, and explain what the service involves — is part of what we offer.
If there is something we cannot address, or something we would advise against, we say so at that point. Our interest is in giving your watch the right attention, not in performing every possible service on every piece that arrives.

A Service Record You Can Keep
The written record we provide at collection is yours permanently. It travels with the watch through future ownership changes and gives any subsequent watchmaker a clear account of prior work. This is uncommon in Bangkok and genuinely useful.
No Unnecessary Work
We assess every piece before recommending a service path. If a watch needs only a battery, we say so. If a case refinish would reduce the value of a vintage piece, we raise that conversation before proceeding. Restraint is a skill.
Direct Drop-Off, No Intermediaries
Your watch is received directly at the bench by the person who will work on it. There is no reception desk relaying information between you and an unseen technician. The handover conversation is part of what makes the service accurate.

Our workshop register holds records going back to 2009. If you have had a watch serviced here before, we can pull the previous record and see exactly what was done and when. Continuity of care, documented.
